Project Overview:
I was commissioned by Experene, a company specialized in supporting and managing energy renovation projects, to redesign a key feature of their B2B platform, Planexper. The platform enables professionals to structure, manage, and track complex renovation projects while complying with regulatory and technical requirements.
My mission focused on rethinking the project creation wizard - a central component of the platform - to improve clarity, efficiency, and overall user experience for B2B users dealing with dense, multi-step workflows.

The Challenge:
The main challenge was designing within a highly technical and regulated environment. The wizard involved structured data, compliance constraints, and long multi-step processes that professional users need to complete with speed and accuracy.
The experience had to minimize cognitive load without sacrificing rigor or completeness - making complex workflows feel simple and logical, without cutting corners.

The Research & Discovery
An in-depth analysis of existing user flows and friction points revealed significant structural inconsistencies and a lack of clarity throughout the experience.
The interface created unnecessary cognitive load, lacked visual hierarchy, and made the platform difficult and unintuitive to use.
This audit laid the foundation for a completely rethought UI direction - minimal, structured, and visually clear - and defined a new information architecture better aligned with user needs and product objectives.

The Design Process
I redesigned the full wizard experience from the ground up, structuring input flows and defining a clear progression logic across each stage. I started with wireframes to validate structure and usability, then moved to high-fidelity screens to refine hierarchy, readability, and visual clarity.
A comprehensive design system was built to ensure consistency, scalability, and ease of integration - with components specifically tailored to handle complex data entry while maintaining a clean and professional interface. Throughout the project, I collaborated closely with the product and development teams to ensure seamless alignment between design decisions and technical execution.

The Result
The redesigned wizard significantly improves clarity, efficiency, and user confidence.
Complex workflows are now organized into intuitive, logical steps that reduce friction and guide users naturally through the project creation process. The new interface enhances readability, ensures visual consistency across the platform, and establishes a scalable foundation for future growth - delivering a more reliable, structured, and user-centered B2B experience.
